LASELEC, which has always outdone itself to stay at the cutting edge of innovation and quality, has seen its efforts rewarded on numerous occasions.
Sylade 7 H insulation stripper won this year’s Productronica Innovation Award in the Cables, Coils & Hybrids Cluster.
Using a point system, a top-class jury judged applications received from around the world to determine the most innovative products and production processes in a total of six clusters. The awards were presented on 14 November during the get-together evening. Laselec and Komax AG were honoured to receive an award in the Cables, Coils & Hybrids cluster.
LASELEC was selected to the device “SME Growth” of the Midi-Pyrénées Region, to accompany the high growth potential SMEs.
The overall objective of this plan is to increase the regional territory in the number of larger SMEs to support job creation, structuring the industrial landscape around reference SMEs and promote the dynamism of the sector.
BPI Excellence, a network of 2,OOO entrepreneurs forging the way ahead
LASELEC has received the BPI EXCELLENCE distinction in 2010, 2011,2012,2013,2014 and 2015 for its policy of innovation and its dedication to development. It is now numbered among the 2,000-strong network of companies who forge the way towards the future.
BPI’s mission is to promote innovation and growth among French companies. With this in mind, it created a digital network of 2,000 companies whose growth prospects appeared promising. This selection was carried out by the BPI team experts in the field, who are deeply aware of their clients, projects, and capacity to grow and to become tomorrow’s leaders.
LASELEC was recognized by the Ministry of Research and ANVAR (French National Agency for the Promotion of Research) at the 2001 competition that was created to help new companies involved with innovative technology (previously reported in an article cf. MPS No. 1334).
This distinction recognizes the achievement of implementing a successful research and development plan in the field of UV Laser cable marking. Laser cable marking is particularly useful in the aeronautical, space, railway and automotive industries.
This award will assist the company in developing a new range of diode pumped UV laser markers. This research and development program is being carried out in partnership with LULI (the laboratory for the use of intense lasers) of the Polytechnique of Paris which is directed by Arnold Migus.
