General Questions:

1) What are the advantages of a LASELEC laser wire marker over other marking methods?

LASELEC provides the best alternative to non permanent wire marking methods such as “Ink Jet” or to the outdated and aggressive marking methods such as “Hot-stamping”. The UV laser marking process used in the ULYS™ and MRO 200 series involves no alteration of the insulating material and no damage to the wire, while producing a permanent high-contrast mark. Our laser wire markers will mark and cut-to-length wires from 6 to 26/28 gauge, including twisted pairs, fiber optics, Teflon wires etc…with tremendous productivity gains and great user-friendliness For more information please refer to the article “Why Choose a Laser over other Wire Marking Methods?”
Back to the top2) What are the shop requirements to run the machine?

90 psi of compressed air needs to be connected to the MRO 200 or ULYS Modena laser wire marking machines.  For the power requirements of a specific model please contact a LASELEC representative.
Back to the top3) Do you offer financing? Leasing?

LASELEC can provide financing/leasing solutions for all its products. Please contact a LASELEC representative for more details.
Back to the top4) Is there any protective gear needed when operating the cable marker?

No protective gear is needed to operate our laser wire identification system. In normal production/operating mode our laser wire markers are classified as Class 1 laser products suitable for use on the open shop floor. They do not present any danger to the user.  Safety switches will automatically shut the laser down if the hood or covers are opened during use.
