These products, which have been jointly developed by both company’s R&D departments, are experiencing a great success worldwide.
LASELEC Inc will now handle the sales and customer support for these braiding and wrapping machines in the North American market. AN EXCLUSIVE TECHNOLOGY: THE "C.A.B." OR COMPUTER-AIDED BRAIDING The strong development of in-board electronics along with the increase in electrical operated functions, in the aeronautic and automotive industries among others, caused manufacturers to improve the effectiveness for electrical harnesses protection. Electromagnetic screening is becoming crucial in order to avoid any signal interference or dysfunction. The EASYBRAID machines meet and exceed the most demanding civil and military requirements in the aeronautic industry for braiding accuracy and quality. It is the guarantee of the most effective screening and the best optimized repeatability from one harness to another. In order to answer the need for traceability of the end-products, all the working parameters, fabrication data as well as any other information related to the manufactured parts are stored in the computer. The complete history for each harness is accessible at any time. The software developed by LASELEC specifically for this application, generates important productivity gains. It facilitates the transfer of data through a network: the engineering and design department can pass on directly the production schedule to the working place. Then, the software manages and controls the full completion of the harnesses, as it automatically commands the braiding sequences for the different parts to be produced accordingly to the working parameters and fabrication data.
